A: To make sure the ghost effect looks clean and seamless, here’s what’s super helpful:

• A straight-on shot of the garment on a mannequin (front, and sometimes back)
• Insert shots: for inside collar, inner back, sleeves’ interiors, bottom hem, etc. — any part that will be “filled in” when the mannequin is removed
• Clean, well-lit photos (ideally no harsh shadows or blown highlights)
• Notes / instructions: how you want collars styled, whether you want wrinkles smoothed, any visual reference styles you like

If you don’t have every insert, I can often still work with what you provide — just know that more reference photos = better final quality.

• You can send: JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, RAW — whatever you have (higher resolution is always better)

If it’s within the original scope, revisions are free. If you want something totally new beyond that, we’ll discuss what extra time or cost is fair. Your satisfaction is the goal.

A: Even though ghost mannequin editing is powerful, there are real limits:

• If the original photo is very blurry, overexposed, or underexposed, a lot of detail may be lost.
• Sheer or transparent fabrics are tricky — sometimes parts will show slight artifacts.
• Very extreme wrinkles or distortions may not “flatten” perfectly.
• If you don’t provide needed insert shots (neck, inside back, etc.), I may have to improvise — and that could slightly alter the final look.

I’ll always let you know about tricky parts before I start so there are no surprises.
