A: Because photos are often the first thing people see. A clean, well-edited image builds trust, looks more trustworthy, helps buyers imagine themselves driving/flying/floating in or on it. Also, when photos are crisp and consistent, your listings or brand look more professional. That means more clicks, more interest, fewer misunderstandings (i.e. the car “looked” one way in photos but different up close).

A: To get the best result:

• High resolution and sharp photos are super helpful
• Taken in decent lighting (if possible) so we have more good data to work with
• Multiple angles if you want full detail (front, sides, maybe interior)
• Clean shots without too much clutter, but don’t worry if the background isn’t perfect—you can send what you have
• Any special shots for “inserts”—for example, if interior or certain parts need to be shown separately

And tell me what you want: background white or some other color, natural shadows or dramatic ones, any special effects or corrections—you name it.

A: Yes! Consistency is very important, especially if you have multiple listings or a full catalog. We can set a “look” (warm or cool tones, amount of contrast/shadows, background style, etc.) and then apply that across all your images so they feel like they belong together.

A: I want you to love the final images. If something doesn’t look right—maybe the paint looks too cold, shadow placement is off, or interior detail needs more clarity—let me know. I include revisions (within the agreed scope) so we can adjust until you’re satisfied. If you add new requirements not originally discussed, we’ll talk about what extra time or cost might be needed.

A: Yes — editing can do wonders, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

• If photos are very low resolution or extremely blurred, detail is lost and can’t always be fully restored
• Severe overexposure or underexposure (washed out lights, black shadows with no texture) are harder to recover
• Very messy lighting with mixed color temperatures (e.g. sunlight + indoor lights) can cause tricky color casts
• Transparent surfaces like windows, or reflections of the environment, can be complex to manage perfectly

I’ll always flag potential issues ahead of time so you know what to expect.

A: You can send images via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or any file-sharing method that works for you. Good if images are full resolution.

Delivery format depends on what you need: JPG/PNG for web, PSD/TIFF if you need layers or want to make further edits, high-res for print if needed. Also, if you need a certain color profile (sRGB, Adobe RGB, whatever your platform uses), just tell me in advance.

A: Your photos are yours. I treat them with care and confidentiality. I don’t share your images or use them for anything outside what we agree on. If you like, I can sign an NDA. Once you receive the final edited files, you have full rights to use them however you want.
